How to submit a request (E-consular)

General information

a. E-consular is the Consulate General of Brazil in Vancouver's platform for service orders and appointment requests. An English version is available - choose English from the menu "Idioma" on the top right.

b. Before starting a request, check the documents required for each service, as it will be necessary to upload their images. Suggestions:

- filling out the requests by cell phone makes it easier to upload photos of the necessary documents.

- you may save the request and finish filling it later.

- at the end, remember to "finalize and submit" the application. 

c. In order for you to schedule an appointment at the Consulate, you must first submit a service request through this platform, uploading images of all the relevant documents. Once your request is validated by the Consulate, you will receive an email notification inviting you to schedule your appointment. (Check your junk mail box.)

d. On the day of your appointment, it is mandatory to present the original of all documents uploaded on the e-consular form. We appreciate your punctuality in order not to delay subsequent appointments. A 5 minutes tolerance will be granted.

e. In the context of exceptional measures against Covid-19, some services continue to be provided, for now, only by mail and/or via the drop-box at the entrance of the Consulate - for example, legalizations, declarations and authentication of copies. In these cases, at the end of the form you will receive guidance on sending your request by mail.

f. Consular services available in the e-consular platform can only be requested by this means. For services not yet included in the system (for example, visas).

PLEASE NOTE

• For services processed only by mail/drop-box, it is also necessary to request the service through the e-consular platform.
• Please DO NOT send your documents before receiving an email from the Consulate validating your request. This prevents your request from being returned by the Consulate due to a lack of supporting documents. 

Service requests submitted without the necessary validation from the Consulate will be returned at the applicant's expense.
