Visitor Visas (VIVIS)
Visitor Visas (VIVIS) are for those travelling to Brazil for maximum stays of up to 90 days, without the intention to establish residence, for the purpose of tourism or business.
There are two options available: the eVisa (for Australian, Canadian and US citizens only) and the Visa Label.

On-line application form filled
|
- Click here to access the electronic form.
- Once finished, click on the "Complete Application" button to generate the Visa Request Form Receipt (RER).
- Print the RER. Sign and affix your photo on the indicated fields.
- For minor applicants, both parents must sign the RER.

Photograph 4x5cm or equivalent
|
- Standard Australian passport photo size.
- Must have been issued within the past 12 months.
- Please note that the upload and a hard copy of your photo are mandatory.
- Photos must be printed on photo-quality paper. The photo quality paper can be either matte or glossy in a white background.

Valid Passport
|
- Original passport signed by the applicant, with at least two contiguous blank pages left.
- Please note that pages reserved for amendments cannot be used for visa purposes.
- Your passport must be in good condition in order to be accepted as a valid document.
- Adults must sign their passports. Minors' passports do not need to be signed.

Letter of intent/Statutory declaration
|
- You must write a letter to the Consulate (in English or Portuguese) about your intended trip to Brazil. You must mention:
a) when you intend to arrive in Brazil;
b) the cities you plan to visit;
c) the activities you are going to be involved with in each city;
d) where you are staying in each city;
e) if you are going to visit anybody in Brazil, you must mention their full name, date of birth, address, phone number and email address;
f) when you intend to depart Brazil.
- Your visa may not be approved if your letter is too vague.
- For Business trips: the letter must be provided by your employer, including your position at the entity.
- For seminar, conference, artistic, and sporting event attendees, an invitation or confirmation letter from the event organizers is required.

Round-trip ticket
|
- Present an e-ticket bearing the applicant’s name or ticket reservation that includes arrival and departure dates from Brazil.

Proof of income
|
- You must provide proof of income for the last 90 days using one or more of the documents below, which must contain your name and date:
- Pay slips
- Bank statements
- Credit card statements

Proof of immigration status in Australia
|
- Copy of your Australian visa or VEVO.

Visa processing fee
|

- Only Australia Post money orders are accepted.
- Payment does not guarantee that the visa will be granted. All processing fees are non-refundable.
