Jorge Geraldo Kadri

Consul-General of Brazil in Sydney

Jorge Geraldo Kadri is the Consul-General of Brazil in Sydney since 13 August 2022.

Until June 2022, he was head of the Special Advisory for International Relations of the Brazilian Ministry of Tourism after working as a Diplomatic Advisor at the Federal Senate from 2020 to 2021 and as Inspector-General in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2018 to 2020.

As a career diplomat, he has served as Head of Mission at the Embassies of Brazil in Beirut (2015-2018), Warsaw (2012-2015) and Bissau (2008-2012). His previous postings include the Embassies of Brazil in Madrid (1989-1992), Canberra (1992-1995), Geneva (Permanent Mission) (1999-2002) and Asunción (2003-2005).
