VITEM VII may be granted to applicants going to Brazil, under the following conditions:

Clergymen, ministers of religious faith or members of a religious institution or order, coming to the country to provide religious assistance services;

Missionaries.
The religious nature of the interested party's mission is essential. VITEM VII is not applicable in case of holding a title of religious or confessional order of any nature but the purpose of the trip not being to perform a religious mission in Brazil.
Besides the documents mentioned in the visa application requirements section, the following ones must be presented:

Police clearance certificate;

Articles of incorporation or bylaws of the religious institution headquartered in Brazil that is requesting the service;

Proof of legal representation powers of the religious institution headquartered in Brazil that is requesting the service;

Proof of the entity headquartered in Brazil of maintenance and future exit from national territory;

Declaration of ordination, academic record or statement from the religious institution that qualifies the individual for the religious activities for which s/he was assigned in the country or proof of this condition for members of a religious institution;

Curriculum vitae;

In case of activities in indigenous areas: authorization from FUNAI (National Indigenous Peoples Foundation).
