VISTOS (VISAS)

The Consulate General of Brazil in Miami only accepts visa applications in person. Appointments must be scheduled through the e-Consular system at ec-miami.itamaraty.gov.br.

The reinstatement of the Visitor Visa (Visto de Visita) requirement for tourists from the USA will take effect on April 10th, 2025. The visa exemption for U.S. passport holders traveling to Brazil as tourists remains valid until April 9th, 2025 (with the exception of Brazilian citizens, who must travel with a Brazilian passport).
