Courier companies at the Visa Section
To all visa agencies
As of August 22, all visa applications done via an agency will have to go through a different application procedure, detailed below:
FIRST STEP – VISA APPLICATION
The first step is similar to what is already done now, via the e-consular application. The requested service has a different name now: Visa for Agencies.
After the application has been submitted and verified by the consular agent, you will receive a confirmation, same as before. However, you will not be able to schedule an appointment directly. You will be directed to a “mail or drop-off” instruction screen. Follow the instructions and print the receipt with a confirmation QR code.
SECOND STEP – DROP-OFF APPOINTMENT
A new service was created in e-consular: Visa – Agency Drop Off.
Through it you will be able to schedule the drop off of up to 3 (three) applications at a time. Only one drop off per agency per day will be allowed.
To schedule the drop off, simply upload the e-consular QR codes of the validated applications.
A time slot will be given to drop off the applications (Mondays to Fridays, from 12:00 to 13:00), which will be processed in 10 days. There is no need to schedule an appointment to pick up the processed applications, but you must come on the designated time and date on your receipt.
No documents will be verified on the drop off, so make sure you bring the correct documents and payment (postal order). We will not deliver the processed applications before the due date and we will no longer accept requests for expediate applications through this channel.
Emergencies regarding visas will be dealt with exclusively by email (visa.cglondres@itamaraty.gov.br) and only after the visa application has been validated (first step).
Specialised visa courier companies must be registered with the Consulate General of Brazil in London in order to lodge visa applications or to collect visas on behalf of their clients.
