- It is a certified translation carried out by a sworn translator (in Brazil referred to as Official Public Translator and Commercial Interpreter). It is officially recognised by institutions and public authorities, and is regarded as an official document.
- The Consulate General does not provide this service.
- Before making any translation arrangements, one must check directly with the authority in Brazil where the document will be submitted whether the translation must be carried out by an Official Public Translator and Commercial Interpreter in Brazil or whether it can be done by a certified translator abroad.
