The Consulate General of Brazil in London offers support and guidance relating to legal issues, police incidents, detention, vulnerable situations, severe health problems, death, and natural disasters.
It is important that the students keep their personal details updated at this Consulate. Form completion is simple and does not require sending photocopies nor photographs, and can be a valuable asset when assistance to students living in the country is required. Please click here to enrol (Portuguese only).
Queries about specific services must be sent to the respective consular departments. Please click here to access the contacts page.
Emergency situations (accidents, death or imprisonment involving Brazilian nationals) must be immediately reported to the Consulate by its emergency helpline.
After conclusion of their studies abroad, students must get all documents issued in the United Kingdom apostilled at the FCO, so that they produce legal effects in Brazil. After being apostilled, school documents have to be translated in Brazil by an Official Public Translator and Commercial Interpreter.
Before return, the Consulate recommends the students to contact their higher education institutions in Brazil to request specific instructions regarding the documentation they must submit, and which ones must be previously apostilled by the FCO.
