Um Menino muito Maluquinho is a poetic biography of a happy boy, loved by his parents - actors Maria Mariana and Eduardo Galvão. The character is portrayed in three stages of his life, at the age of 5 (played by actor Felipe Severo), at the age of 10 (Pedro Saback) and at the age of 30 (Fernando Alves Pinto).
Main childhood topics are approached under the point of view of children aged between 5 and 10. Each episode brings a different theme that leads the spectator to identify with the character and reflect about realities and conflicts faced at different stages of life.
Amongst the topics discussed are: identity, who we are and how people perceive us; birthdays and how time passes; the first day at school and making new friends; bullying; pet care; consumerism and wanting to buy everything we see on TV; death; holidays; parents; the importance of being organised; feeling jealous of younger siblings; the dream of a future profession; your best friend; competition between boys and girls; the first love; arts; excessive consumption of sweets etc.
