If you or a Brazilian citizen in Turkey is in immediate danger, call the country's emergency number.
A single number for all emergencies (to call an ambulance, fire department, civil defense, police) in Turkey:
By calling the Consulate General's emergency telephone number, Brazilian citizens residing in or passing through this jurisdiction can request assistance in the event of a proven emergency
Emergencies are | 1 - Humanitarian crises resulting from natural disasters, civil wars or armed conflicts; | The following are not emergencies | 1 - Deportations; |
2 - Disappearance of Brazilian nationals abroad in the last 48 hours; | 2 - Loss of passport or other documentation; | ||
3 - Cases of human trafficking; | 3 - Lost baggage; | ||
4 - Any situation of violence or mistreatment against Brazilian nationals; | 4 - Expired travel documents; | ||
5 - Identification of hospitalized or disabled persons; | 5 - Missed flights; | ||
6 - Communication of death to family members in Brazil; | 6 - Refusal to grant visas by foreign authoritiess; | ||
7 - Police cases, arrests and detentions; | 7 - Any other situations that do not involve an imminent risk to the life or safety of a Brazilian abroad. | ||
8 - Serious accidents involving Brazilian nationals. | |
