Visa Fees

1) Visa fees must be paid with USPS money orders only. Please see a sample below:

2) The Consulate does not accept cash, checks, and money orders issued by banks or providers other than the US Postal Service (USPS).

3) Write down the name and address of the main applicant on the from field (right side) of the USPS money order. Write down "Consulate General of Brazil in Hartford" on the pay to field (left side) of the USPS money order. 

4) If you are sending more than one application (e.g. members of a family), you may buy only one money order with the total amount of fees.

5) Applications submitted without the money order or with incorrect fees will not be accepted and will be returned to the applicant.

6) Fees are subject to change at any time.

7) Fees are non-refundable regardless of the outcome (approval or denial) of the application.

8) There are no expedited fees.
