Visas for Dependants
Visas may be granted to dependants of a Brazilian citizen or extended to a dependant of a Brazilian visa holder.
The following are eligible to apply for a visa in order to join a family member in Brazil:
Children |
1) Descendants under the age of 18, or of any age, when there is evidence that the individual is disabled and cannot provide for him/herself (proof of dependency must be presented); or 2) Descendants from 18 to 24 years old, as long as they are enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate education and provided there is reciprocity of treatment in the foreign national's country of origin (proof of reciprocity must be presented).
