- The passport must be valid for the entire period the foreign citizen intends to remain in Brazil. Otherwise, no minimum passport validity is required.
- The passport must contain at least two blank pages.
- If you have a valid Brazilian visa in an expired passport and have had another passport issued by the same country, without any name changes, you may enter Brazil carrying both passports.
- The Consulate General reserves the right to request information and additional documentation, if it is considered necessary.
- The processing time may be extended in the event the consular authority requires further analysis.
- It is recommended to not pay for travel arrangements (e.g., air ticket, hotel) without having a visa in your possession.
