Citizens of The United States of America, Canada and Australia will resume needing a visa to travel to Brazil on tourism or business.

ATTENTION: Effective April 10th, 2024, citizens of The United States of America, Canada and Australia will resume needing a visa to travel to Brazil on tourism or business.

Nationals of these countries, even if residing abroad, will be able to easily apply for electronic visas (e-visa) through the website https://brazil.vfsevisa.com/, at a final cost of US$80.90 per visa.

The electronic visas will grant multiple entries and have the same duration as the regular ones.

*If you travel to Brazil before April 10th, 2024, YOU DO NOT NEED A VISA, even if you leave the country after this date.
