eVisa
The requirement for US citizens to obtain a visa to travel to Brazil for tourism or business has been postponed.
The new effective date for this change is April 10th, 2025. This means that U.S. citizens will need to obtain a visa before traveling to Brazil for tourism or business from that date onward.
US citizens traveling to Brazil for tourism or business before that date, do not need a visa even if leaving the country after that date.
GENERAL INFORMATION
- Effective April 10th, 2025, citizens of the United States, Canada and Australia will need a visa to travel to Brazil on tourism or business.
- If you are not a citizen of the United States, Canada or Australia, you must mail your application. For further information, click here.
- The eVisa fee will be US$ 80.90 and the visa will be valid for 10 years.
- Brazilian Citizens are not eligible to apply for any Brazilian visa or for eVisa, even those with dual citizenship.
