VISA GENERAL RULES

VISIT VISA EXEMPTION:

Since June 17th, 2019, nationals of Australia, Canada, Japan and United States are exempt of Visit Visas, for purposes of tourism, business, transit and sports or artistic activities in Brazil. Stays in the country under these purposes are allowed for up to 90 days, extendable for the same period, provided that the visitor does not exceed 180 days of stay in the Brazilian territory every 12 months, counting from the date of the first entry.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR VISA:

1) To apply for a Brazilian visa you must bring: (NOT FOR ALL TYPES OF VISAS, PLEASE check the complete detailed list)

• 1.1. Valid passport (with TWO blank visa pages)

• 1.2. Printed confirmation page of online application form (2 online forms are mandatory see detais below)

• 1.3. 1 (one) 2” x 2” passport photo

• 1.4. Printed itinerary (if you haven't purchased a ticket yet, you may print and fill out our itinerary form)

• 1.5. US Postal Service Money Order for payment of fee (if applicable)

Beginning September 13th, 2021, all visa requests shall be initiated through the E-consular platform:

Two online forms are mandatory and required:

1st you need to fill the RER FORM and 2nd go to E-CONSULAR

To use the tool, it is necessary to register using an email address. The instructions to register are available on the platform's main page.

The options for scheduling an appointment (to urgent or emegency cases only), send by mail or delivered in person unto "drop box", will be available to the user on the e-consular portal once the documents have been validated by the consular authorities.
