Applying through a third party
APPLYING THROUGH A THIRD PARTY
If you cannot come to the Consulate in person your application can be submitted by either (A) an immediate family member (spouse, parents or children only), (B) a travel companion (only if they are also applying for themselves), (C) a representative of your company or (D) a Visa agency (specific rules apply).
A third party can only apply on your behalf if you live within our jurisdiction (GA, AL, MS, SC, TN). You must include proof of residence in your application (e.g. electric, cable, credit card bills, lease, state ID, driver’s license).
Please bear in mind that most countries, including the USA, do not accept visa applications by a third party. We offer a much more flexible policy and therefore request all applicants to follow our rules.
