PAYMENT METHODS AND CONSULAR FEES
1. Payment by Money Order
All services provided by the Consulate General in Atlanta may be paid by means of a Money Order issued by the United States Postal Service (USPS) on behalf of the "Consulate General of Brazil in Atlanta". Make sure that the FORM LETTER fields, including the applicant's name, are written, in the Money Order exactly according to the example figure below. Please don't be on the back of the Money Order.
The Consulate only accepts Money Order issued by the United States Postal Service (USPS).
Money Orders with an issue term of less than 90 days are preferably accepted to avoid being rejected by banks.

2. Debit card
When the service is in person at the Consulate, the services can be paid by debit card (VISA, MASTERCARD and DISCOVER), and the payment is made at the time of the service. The card company will be charged a fee of 3% of the service amount.
Due to the balance sheet closing of services scheduled for the last three working days of the month, payments will NOT be accepted by debit card, we will only accept Money Order issued by the United States post office.
