Important:

  • Selection does not guarantee entry into Brazil. Selected candidates must obtain the appropriate visa to enter the country.
  • Students selected in the final result will receive information regarding enrollment, academic calendar, institutional rules, and other relevant information for their arrival and stay in Brazil from the higher education institution(s). It is the responsibility of the selected candidates to periodically check the email address provided in their application, starting from the publication of the final result, to confirm receipt of instructions from the institution(s) to which they were assigned. If necessary, candidates should contact the institution(s) using the contact information published on the DCE/MRE website to obtain information about enrollment.

  • Waiting list: click here.
  • Remaining vacancies: click here.

Please note: If you have been selected, you must contact the Brazilian embassy or consulate where you applied by October 31 to inform them of your decision regarding the place(s) offered in the preliminary results. If you do not communicate your decision by October 31, you will not be able to join the Program.

You must choose one of the four options below:

1. Accept the offered place(s)

  • Choose this option if: You accept the place(s) exactly as stated in the preliminary results.
  • The place will be confirmed in the final results.
  • No later changes will be possible.

2. Decline the offer and withdraw

  • Choose this option if: you no longer wish to join the PEC-G/PEC-PLE 2026.
  • You will not appear in the final results but may apply again in future editions.
  • You will lose the place(s) you received in the preliminary results.
  • Please inform the embassy or consulate of your reason for withdrawing.

3. Request a different (remaining) PEC-G place

  • Choose this option if: you want to exchange the PEC-G place you received in the preliminary results for a place from the list of remaining vacancies.
  • The change will only occur if the place you requested is available; otherwise, you will retain the same place assigned to you in the preliminary results.
  • Currently, there are no remaining PEC-PLE places.
  • Please note: some institutions have reached their maximum number of students. Even if they have remaining vacancies, these institutions will only be able to accept more students if one of their selected candidates declines or changes place: IFSP, PUC Minas, PUC-SP, UEPB, UFBA, UFC, UFF, UFMS, UFPA, UFPB, UFRGS, UFRRJ, UFSC, UNAERP, UNAMA, UnB, UNICENTRO, UNIFESSPA and UNISAGRADO. You can request a remaining place at one of these institutions, but you will have a lower chance of getting a reallocation than if you request a place at another institution.

4. Join the waiting list

  • Choose this option if: you wish to exchange the place you received in the preliminary results for a specific place currently occupied by another selected candidate, or for a course that currently has no remaining vacancies.
  • You will be placed on the waiting list. If the place you want becomes available, you may be reallocated for that place.
  • You will lose the place(s) you received in the preliminary results.
  • The waiting list will remain valid even after the publication of the final results. You may still be selected if your desired place becomes available before the start of the academic year.
