Visit to Brazil by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mauro Vieira, will host the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, on March 19. The meeting aims to discuss topics from the bilateral, regional, and global agendas, and explore possibilities to strengthen the ties of cooperation between the two countries.
On the occasion, the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Rio Branco Institute and the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia is planned.
Brazil is home to a significant Armenian-origin community, estimated at 40,000 people, which represents an important bridge for closer ties between the two countries.
Brazilian exports to Armenia in 2024 grew by 13.5% compared to 2023. The trade flow reached USD 28.6 million in 2024, with an expansion of 16.3% compared to 2023.
