The Vice President and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Colombia, Marta Lucía Ramírez, visits Brazil
The Vice President and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Colombia, Marta Lucía Ramírez, will pay a working visit to Brasilia on August 12th. This is her first visit to Brazil since she assumed the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs in addition to her mandate as Vice President.
The Colombian authority will be received by the Vice-President of the Republic, General Hamilton Mourão, and by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Carlos Alberto Franco França. During the visit, the bilateral agenda will be reviewed, with an emphasis on issues related to trade, investment, health, security and the environment, as well as regional and multilateral issues of mutual interest.
Colombia is an important partner for Brazil in the defense of a democratic, prosperous and secure South America. The visit of the Vice President and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Colombia attests to the favorable moment for diplomatic relations between two of the largest South American economies and the dynamism of the bilateral agenda.
