The Secretary of Foreign Relations of Honduras, Arturo Corrales Alvarez, to visit Brazil – Brasília, 6 to 10 February 2012
The Secretary of Foreign Relations of Honduras, Arturo Corrales Alvarez, is making an official visit to Brazil from 6 to 10 February, leading a delegation that comprises another six State Ministers and a business mission. It is the first visit of the Honduran Foreign Secretary to Brazil.
The Minister of External Relations, Antonio de Aguiar Patriota, will receive Foreign Secretary Arturo Corrales Alvarez on 9 February. They will go over the bilateral agenda and also hold talks on regional and multilateral affairs, such as CELAC (Community of Latin American and Caribbean Countries), MERCOSUR-SICA (Central American Integration System) relations, and the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20).
In 2011, trade flow between Brazil and Honduras reached US$ 105 million, a 30% growth with regard to 2010.
