The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, Lene Espersen, to visit Brazil – São Paulo and Brasilia, March 30 to April 1, 2011

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, Lene Espersen, will make an official visit to Brazil from March 30 to April 1, with stops in São Paulo and Brasília. In São Paulo, she will attend a business seminar at FIESP, as the head of the Danish business delegation.  In Brasília, on March 31, she will hold meetings with Minister Antonio de Aguiar Patriota. On the occasion, they will sign a Cooperation Agreement covering economy and trade, energy, climate change and political consultations.

In 2010, bilateral trade reached a record US$ 911 million, with a US$ 175.5 surplus for  Denmark.  The amount is a 390% growth from 2002 figures.
