The Minister of External Relations and Worship of Costa Rica, René Castro Salazar, to visit Brazil – Brasilia, March 30 to April 5, 2011
Minister Antonio de Aguiar Patriota will hold a working meeting with the Minister of External Relations and Worship of Costa Rica, René Castro Salazar, on April 4. They will go over the main issues in the political, economic, and bilateral cooperation agenda, as well as addressing regional affairs.
The meeting between the Foreign Ministers in part of the official visit to Brazil Minister René Castro is paying from March 30 to April 5, who in addition to Brasília has a work agenda in São Paulo, São José dos Campos and Rio de Janeiro, including meetings with government and private sector agents.
Costa Rica is Brazil’s largest trading partner in Central America (the volume traded reached US$ 678 million in 2010). The exchange with this country is marked by the presence of value-added products, such as machinery, automobiles, electronic components and electrical appliances.
In 2011, Brazil and Costa Rica will celebrate 105 years of diplomatic relations.
