Situation in Israel and Palestine - Repatriation of Brazilians
In light of the worsening security situation in Israel and Palestine, the Brazilian government is planning the repatriation of nationals in the region.
Brazilian Air Force flights are primarily intended to repatriate Brazilian residents in Brazil.
The Embassy of Brazil in Tel Aviv is publishing a form on its website (https://www.gov.br/mre/pt-br/embaixada-tel-aviv) for individuals to register for possible repatriation flights and will provide instructions for transportation to Ben-Gurion Airport as flights are confirmed.
Due to uncertain timing of the first repatriation flight, it is recommended that all nationals who have airline tickets or have the means to acquire them board available commercial flights from Ben-Gurion Airport, which continues to operate.
Regarding Brazilians in Palestine, the government is working to facilitate the necessary conditions for the implementation of an evacuation plan for nationals who wish to leave the Gaza Strip or the West Bank.
The Brazilian government has set up a structure at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to monitor the situation of Brazilians in the region. The consular emergency hotlines of the Embassy in Tel Aviv (+972 (54) 803 5858) and the Representation Office in Ramallah (+972 (59) 205 5510), with WhatsApp, remain operational to assist nationals in emergency situations.
The general consular emergency hotline of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs can also be contacted by phone at +55 (61) 98260-0610.
