Planalto Palace
Press members interested in participating in the coverage of the inauguration ceremonies of President-elect, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, and of Vice President-elect, Geraldo José Rodrigues Alckmin Filho, at Planalto Palace (including the press open vehicle which will follow the presidential motorcade, and also the portable stage area in front of the Palace), on January 1st, 2023, must request accreditation by filling out the form available on the page:

Due to security considerations and space constraints at the inauguration venues, each media outlet can request accreditation for a maximum of 5 press members (print media, photographers, camerapeople and assistants) for access to Planalto Palace and the other aforementioned areas. Additionally, the number of press badges to be issued will be limited, taking into account the need to guarantee the presence of the greatest possible number of media outlets and the capacity of Planalto Palace and other areas. Therefore, an accreditation submission is no guarantee that the press badge will be approved.
Secondary passes will also be distributed for access to certain areas where press members will cover the inauguration, including at Planalto Palace and the other aforementioned areas. Only press members holding press badges and the corresponding secondary pass will have access to these areas. More information on secondary passes will be released in due course.
