Cyclone “Freddy”

The Brazilian Government is following with concern the new passage of Cyclone “Freddy” through Southern Africa, causing destruction and deaths over the last few days in Malawi, Mozambique and Madagascar.

Brazil sympathizes with the families of the victims and expresses its most sincere condolences to the peoples and governments of the affected countries. So far, there is no record of Brazilian citizens among the fatal victims of the cyclone.
