Brazil is selected to host the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027

The Brazilian government has welcomed the announcement that Brazil will host the 10th edition of FIFA Women's World Cup 2027. The decision was  reached following the vote by FIFA’s 211 affiliated associations and will bring the tournament to South America for the first time.

FIFA Women's World Cup 2027 in Brazil is a further step towards the promotion of  women's football in the country, in line with the objectives of the National Strategy for Women's Football, established by Decree 11,458 of 2023. Both initiatives are aimed at creating favorable conditions for the development of the sport, using it as a means for social inclusion and the promotion of gender equality.
