Brazil-China Business Seminar
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and ApexBrasil organized on March 29 in Beijing the Brazil-China Business Seminar. The event, attended by over 500 Brazilian and Chinese businessmen, aimed at strengthening and diversifying trade relations and investment flows, with a focus on energy transition, innovation and sustainability.
The Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Carlos Fávaro; the Vice-Minister of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, Guo Tingting; the President of ApexBrasil, Jorge Viana; and the President of the China Council for International Investment Promotion (CCIIP), Ma Xiuhong, attended the seminar.
A sectoral panel on "startups, innovation, and the digital ecosystem" and agribusiness meetings followed the seminar.
On the occasion, new partnerships in the Sino-Brazilian private sector were announced. Over 20 agreements include the areas of energy transition and climate change; mining; industry; agribusiness; finance; information and communication technology; health; infrastructure and construction; and trade and services.
