Agrément granted to the Ambassador-designate of Brazil to Russia

The Brazilian government is pleased to inform that the government of the Russian Federation has granted its agrément to Ambassador Sérgio Rodrigues dos Santos as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil to that country.

Sérgio Rodrigues dos Santos is the head of the Policy Planning Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This is his first designation as Chief of Mission.

In accordance with the Constitution, this designation will be submitted to the Federal Senate for consideration.
