Agrément granted to the Ambassador-designate of Brazil to Guinea-Bissau

The Brazilian government is pleased to inform that the government of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau has granted its agrément to Minister Pablo Duarte Cardoso as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil to that country.
Mr. Duarte Cardoso currently serves as Minister-Counselor at the Brazilian Mission to the Community of Portuguese-Speaking Countries (CPLP) in Lisbon. This will be his first appointment as head of a diplomatic post abroad.
In accordance with the Constitution, this designation will be submitted to the Federal Senate for consideration.
