Call for papers for the special volume “VII Fluminense Conference on Natural Products: “conservation, sustainability and innovation””The open journal Rodriguésia is currently preparing a special volume entitled VII Fluminense Conference on Natural Products: “conservation, sustainability and innovation”.
The VII Fluminense Conference on Natural Products: conservation, sustainability and innovation, featured speakers from the State of Rio de Janeiro, covering the various aspects of the Natural Products area, in addition to the participation of students in oral and banner presentations. There was also a roundtable discussion on the theme “Interaction between public institutions and private companies” to strengthen partnerships between public and private institutions based in the State of Rio de Janeiro. The event offered short courses on cutting-edge topics. Approximately 250 papers were presented in poster form and 8 in oral presentation form, in the various areas that make up the large area of Natural Products Chemistry, such as Anatomy and Taxonomy of Medicinal Plants, Biotechnology of Natural Products, Ecology and Chemical Ecology, Ethnobotany and Ethnopharmacology, Pharmacology of Natural Products, Synthesis of Natural Products, Isolation and Purification of Natural Products, Chemotaxonomy, Technology of Natural Products, among others. The authors were invited to send abstracts of the papers presented for selection of full papers for publication in the Rodriguesia Journal. The best papers were chosen and will be submitted for peer review for publication in the Special Volume in commemoration of the VII Fluminense Conference on Natural Products.
The manuscripts should be submitted according to Rodriguésia’s Author Guidelines
through the Electronic Submission System: https://mc04.manuscriptcentral.com/rod-scielo The deadline submission is March 31, 2025. The submission letter must indicate that the manuscript is part of the special volume.
