Trio brings bossas, jazz, xotes and baião to Domingo no Jardim
The trio formed by Silvana Agla (cello and vocals), Bia Gouveia (accordion and vocals) and Kiko Chaves (guitar) will be performing on March 31 at 11 a.m. as part of the Domingo no Jardim series.
Silvana, who has performed in several European countries, has put together an eclectic repertoire, including jazz standards, French and Brazilian songs, with Bia Gouveia's accordion taking center stage in popular songs from the northeast. Kiko Chaves' guitar brightens up the show with its very Brazilian rhythm and timbres, and the cello plays a unique role in this mix of timbres. All the arrangements are created jointly by the trio.
The concert in Rio de Janeiro's Botanical Garden will take place in front of the bust of Dom João. The performance is free. Visitors only pay the entrance fee to the arboretum.
In the event of rain, the concert will be moved to the Galpão das Artes, next to Lago das Tartarugas.
