This Sunday, July 21, the Sunday in the Garden welcomes Paulo Rego (saxophones and flute) and Pedro Franco (guitar and mandolin). In a show marked by Brazilianness, the musicians bring to Rio de Janeiro's Botanical Garden classics of samba, bossa nova, jazz, as well as their own compositions.
Musician, composer, artistic and record producer, Paulo Rego has a degree in saxophone and composition from the School of Music of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). In 2017, he released his first album “Pedro Franco” and was nominated as a Revelation for the Brazilian Music Prize. He currently collaborates with artists such as Maria Bethânia, Zélia Duncan and Roberta Sá.
