Special vacation program for the kids at the Botanical Garden!
The Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden has prepared a special vacation program for children, teenagers and families, with activities that combine fun and knowledge. The games, workshops, storytelling and much more start on Saturday July 13th and run until the 28th of the month.
At the Botanical Garden Museum, De Flor em Flor is the name of the series of activities that will make everyone learn more about Brazilian flora and have fun at the same time. There's Amarelinha with flowers from the Atlantic Forest, a game of Botanical Cards with endangered species, animation workshops, nature photography and painting with natural paints, storytelling and other games, as well as guided tours of the exhibition.
The Botanical Garden's Environmental Education Service (SEA) will be taking the kids on a discovery tour of the Garden's arboretum, in the Botanical Detective activity, which will take place on Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th. From Wednesday to Friday, the 17th, 18th and 19th, the SEA will offer a workshop on making masks with botanical motifs.
