Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden selects post-doctoral fellow

The Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden Research Institute has published a call for applications for a Postgraduate Development Program (PDPG) Strategic Postdoctoral Fellow at the National School of Tropical Botany. The application period runs until March 31, 2024.

Candidates must hold a PhD degree no more than five (5) years ago from a Graduate Program in Botany or a related field. They may be foreigners, provided they are resident in Brazil and have a temporary visa and CPF. Candidates must not have an employment contract or, in the case of civil servants, be on a leave of absence published in the DOU.

The process will consist of four stages: Resume analysis; Memorial analysis; Work Plan analysis; Interview.
