Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden promotes the Autumn Orchid Show

On June 2, 3 and 4, the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden will promote the Autumn Orchid Show. The event will have lectures and mini-courses about the cultivation of these plants, guided visits to the Orchid Garden - an open area next to the glass greenhouse of the Orchid House - and a flower show inside the greenhouse, besides the sale of plants and publications by two visiting nurseries.

In the morning of each day of the event there will also be a raffle of an orchid among the participating public. The registrations for the visits, lectures and mini-courses will be made on site during the event.

This show has no relation with the orchid shows organized by a partner institution in the Botanical Garden in other occasions.
