JBRJ's Center for Social and Environmental Responsibility promotes action for the National Day for People with Disabilities
On September 23 (Monday), the João Carlos Silva Center for Social and Environmental Responsibility (CRS) at the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden will promote a special activity in the recently renovated Sensory Garden, in honor of the National Day of Struggle for People with Disabilities ( September 21). The date, which highlights the importance of social inclusion and awareness of the anti-capacity struggle, will be marked by an initiative that combines interaction with nature and accessibility.
The event offers the public a free and open multisensory experience, with no need to book in advance. Mediated by CRS students, visitors will be able to interact with plants of different shapes, sizes, colors, scents and textures, exploring the environment in a unique and inclusive way in the Sensory Garden.
In addition to the guided tour, participants will be able to try out other dynamic activities such as the sensory boxes and mats that extend the interactive experience.
