Environmental revelry in the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden's vacation program

Environmental revelry is the theme of the vacation program at the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden this January. Conducted by the Environmental Education Service (SEA), the activity is free and aimed at children (free classification). It includes a presentation on the history of carnival in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro, with an emphasis on local culture, as well as the making of carnival props, such as masks, skirts and necklaces with an environmental theme, and the production of biodegradable glitter.

The program takes place from January 15 to 19 and 22 to 26, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the SEA headquarters, located next to the main ticket office. There is no need to register in advance.
