Enjoy the program of the new Botanical Garden Museum!
The Botanical Garden Museum, which opened on March 8, has several educational activities scheduled until the end of the month. All the activities will take place in the museum's Multipurpose Room.
Check them out below and get to know them!
29/03 - Semear | 11am - Sensory workshop for babies, with Botany as the theme.
Using music and transformable materials, we play with the children.
All the activities are interspersed with the art of storytelling and packed with a repertoire specially chosen from the culture of Brazilian childhood, to the sound of voice, guitar and tambourine. Audience: 15 babies aged 0 to 3.
29/03 - Art and Nature Workshop - Clay | 15h
Clay represents the earth element and connects the sense of touch very well, with which we can stimulate creativity and develop concentration. Inspired by the installations of Brazilian artist and indigenous rights activist Denilson Baniwa, we will create "our forest" using clay and other elements of nature such as leaves, sticks and seeds. The activity caters for up to 20 people.
30/03 - Art and Nature Workshop - Manual Notebook | 15h
How about sharpening your gaze and creating records of nature the way botanists do? On this day we're going to hold a Manual Notebook Workshop, where nature will be the main inspiration in this process. Each participant will create their own notebook and style it with elements from nature. The activity caters for up to 20 people.
31/03 - Art and Nature Workshop - Mandala | 15h
Shall we make art imitating nature? Following the example of patterns and designs we find in nature, such as on a tree trunk or a spider's web, we'll be inspired to create art in the Mandala Workshop. Each mandala created is unique, just like nature itself. The activity caters for up to 20 people.
Entry to the museum and all activities are free.
The Museum is open from Thursday to Tuesday, from 10am to 5pm (last entry at 4pm); closed on Wednesdays.
Address: Rua Jardim Botânico, 1008.
