Closure of the arboretum on Wednesdays during fall and winter

The Arboretum of the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden will be closed to visitors on Wednesdays during fall and winter for plant care and maintenance of the flowerbeds and live collections.

The Cultural Corridor, accessed through Rua Jardim Botânico, 1008, remains open daily, including Wednesdays, with activities at the Ecovilla RiHappy, Associação de Amigos do Jardim Botânico, Instituto Tom Jobim, Green Garden restaurant, Visitors Center, Galpão das Artes and Turtle Lake lawn.
