Carine Corrêa and Pedro Franco to perform at Domingo no Jardim on April 21
Singer, songwriter and instrumentalist Carine Corrêa and multi-instrumentalist and composer Pedro Franco are the next attraction in the Domingo no Jardim series, on April 21 at 11 a.m. The repertoire includes songs by great masters such as Baden Powell, Tom Jobêa, Paulinho Viola, Cole Porter and Eddie Gomes. The duo promises emotion, gusto and verve in the execution and interpretation of each theme, combining lyricism and contemplation with intense and passionate rhythmic grooves, in a journey through time, styles and different musical languages.
Carine Corrêa is a singer with a distinctive voice, as well as a pianist and accordion player, who has scored films and documentaries and has performed throughout Brazil and in various countries in Europe and South America, as well as Japan. His first solo album, Pulse, is available on all digital platforms.
Pedro Franco is a virtuoso of the strings - from mandolin to violin - and has emerged as one of the most talented artists of his generation. He has released two albums and has been nominated for the Brazilian Music Prize four times. He has performed all over the country, as well as in Europe, South America and Israel.
The performance will take place in front of the bust of D. João VI, in the arboretum of Rio de Janeiro's Botanical Garden. In the event of rain, the show will be moved to Galpão das Artes.
