Brazilian repertoire in chamber music at the Sunday in the Garden on 17 November
On the 17th, Domingo no Jardim will feature a performance by the group Chroma Bass. With a repertoire marked by Brazilian music, the musicians João Boaventura (trumpet), Lucas Brites (trumpet), Jonathan Nicolau (horn), Renan Crepaldi (trombone) and Anderson Cruz (tuba) bring chamber music to Rio de Janeiro's Botanical Garden.
The term “chamber” comes from the origin of these performances, which originally took place in more intimate settings, such as living rooms or small halls. The Chroma Brass group aims to bring the chamber music scene to different types of audiences, with a variety of presentations, such as educational concerts with information about music and instruments. The repertoire will include songs such as Aquarela Brasileira, Cantiga Brasileira, Se Todos Fossem Iguais a Você, among others.
