Botanical Garden Museum starts lecture series on March 14 and 16
This week, the Botanical Garden Museum is starting its Cultivating Ideas series of lectures in the Multipurpose Room. The first will be this Thursday, March 14, at 5 p.m., on the theme of Conversation - The Sun and the Jungle, with biologist and PhD in Ecology Aliny Pires, writer and PhD in African Literature Aza Njeri and ecologist and curator of the Museum of Tomorrow, Fabio Scarano.
On Saturday, the series brings the president of JBRJ, Sergio Besserman Vianna, to talk about The climate crisis and the 21st century, at 2 p.m.
On Sunday, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., the activity will be with the Museum's Education Department, which will tell a story entitled Flying Rivers, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
All activities are free and subject to capacity.
