Become a Botanical Garden Sponsor

The formalization of partnerships between the Botanical Garden Research Institute of Rio de Janeiro and individuals or companies is governed by Portaria nº 77, de 16 de abril de 2021.

The new Ordinance establishes the procedures for the execution and monitoring of partnerships between individuals and companies and the Botanical Garden Research Institute of Rio de Janeiro, extending to interested organizations, the opportunity to support projects and activities in specific categories such as "Master", Sponsor", "Official Supplier", "Co-Sponsor", "Support", "Friend of the Garden" or "Media Partner". The projects and activities developed by the Botanical Gardens are eligible for the incentive mechanisms available at state, municipal or federal level, including the possibility of 100% tax deduction through legal mechanisms such as the Cultural Incentive Law or the Biodiversity Law, for example, and should preferably be executed directly by the partner, or indirectly, under the supervision of the Botanical Gardens.
