Purpose: Establish a cooperation network between Brazil and Denmark through partnerships and collaborative research projects related to Innovation and Agribusiness.
Invitation
The Innovation Cooperation Brazil-Denmark is honoured to invite you to participate in the On-line Seminar on Innovation in Agribusiness. The goal is to establish a bilateral innovation network fostering new partnerships, R&D co-development and joint research projects.
The seminar includes 3 webinars conducted in English, on 1st, 2nd & 3rd December, from 10:00 to 11:20 in Brazil, 14:00 to 15:20 in Denmark. Each webinar is moderated by Christiam Maciel, researcher from INPI, and includes presentations of agricultural tech solutions from four Brazilian researchers and companies, as well as a contextualization on Precision Agriculture in Denmark by Prof. Claus Aage Grøn Sørensen, Aarhus University (AU) Smart Farming Center, Denmark.
- 1st December (Tuesday) – Federal University of Viçosa (UFV) presents its Technological Park + four technologies on: Precision Agriculture (soil sensors and punch planter), Irrigation Water Management and Food/Bioeconomy.
- 2nd December (Wednesday) – Presentation on agricultural tech solutions within Pest control, Planting Equipment, Fertilizers and Precision Livestock from the companies Skydrones, J. Assy, Justy BioSolutions and Intergado.
- 3rd December (Thursday) – Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) presents four technologies on: Plant biologicals, Mycotoxin removal, Crop protection, Food fermentation.
The seminar is aimed at companies and researchers interested in collaborating on joint innovative tech solutions for agribusiness. Participants are invited to submit proposals for cooperation and joint projects via online forms after the sessions.
This initiative is part of the agenda defined in an Innovation Cooperation Agreement signed in October 2019 between the Brazilian National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) and the Royal Danish Embassy of Brazil.
