Postdoctoral training program (PDOC)
The Academy has a Postdoctoral Training Program (PDOC) directed to researchers with Doctor’s degree who wish to deepen their studies in the area of Intellectual Property, Innovation and Development.
Applications are accepted on a continuous basis and depend, preliminarily, on formal acceptance by a professor member of the permanent faculty of the PPGPI, who shall act as the student’s supervisor. The applicant shall submit a Work Plan, indicating the research line and project intended, any teaching experience, in addition to other documents that will compose their application, whose final approval is up to the PPGPI’s Postgraduate Council, that shall resolve upon the conditions of attendance of the postdoctoral student in the program academic life.
All postdoctoral activities are voluntary, not entailing any employment bond with INPI. In addition to the research activities, the postdoctoral student may cooperate in courses, attend final examination panels and perform activities of co-orientation of students, always pursuant to their project and upon consent of their supervisor.
The PPGPI does not provides postdoctoral scholarships; therefore, the applicant is responsible for financing his activities with the Program.
