Structure
Mission
The INPI Academy, according to art. 140 of the Internal Regulations of the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI), is responsible for:
I – coordinating and monitoring the graduate teaching, research, and continuing education activities in intellectual property, emphasizing their relationship with innovation and technological, economic, social, and cultural development;
II - coordinating and monitoring training activities in intellectual property and innovation, in collaboration with the finalistic areas;
III - proposing and implementing dissemination actions related to intellectual property;
IV – promoting exchanges with national and international teaching, research and continuing education institutions and the like, in order to develop common interest activities in collaboration with INPI’s fields of cooperation;
V – coordinating actions related to provision of information to internal and external users through access to the bibliographic archive and non-patent databases in order to improve the use of the intellectual property system;
VI – creating, developing and implementing actions for knowledge management produced in the scope of the Intellectual Property, Innovation and Development Academy;
VII – Coordinating activities related to academic mobility of researchers, professors and students.
