Workshop discusses Strategic Plan 2023-2026

With the objective of advancing in the formulation of the 2023-2026 Strategic Plan, INPI held a Planning Workshop with its managers between March 13th and 15th, in Nova Friburgo (RJ). The initiatives, indicators and targets to be achieved in the period were discussed, in addition to the priorities for the 2023 Action Plan and Budget.
The 2023-2026 INPI Strategic Plan is expected to be released by the end of March.
The Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce and Services (MDIC) was represented by the coordinator of the Department of Intellectual Property and Metrology, of the Secretariat for Competitiveness and Regulation, Natália Ruschel, in addition to the servant Andrea Stelet.
The defined strategic objectives
- Optimize quality and agility in granting and registering industrial property rights, achieving performance standards of international reference;
- Promote culture and the strategic use of industrial property for competitiveness, innovation and development in Brazil;
- Consolidate the insertion of Brazil as a protagonist in the international industrial property system;
- Raise knowledge and recognition of INPI's value to society;
- Deepen the digital transformation with a focus on improving performance and customer service;
- Ensure sustainable financing for modernization and expansion of service delivery capacity;
- Ensure the recomposition and retention of the workforce scaled to meet a growing demand and sustain high performance in service provision;
- Provide cost-effective, efficient and sustainable logistics and infrastructure support; and
- Improve governance and management practices and institutional relationships.
