ISBN and ISSN request
INTERNATIONAL STANDARD BOOK NUMBER – ISBN
The International Standard Book Number (ISBN) is a numerical identifier for books, whether printed or digital, providing a unique identification for monographic publications based on the book's title, author, country, and publisher.
To obtain an ISBN, a request must be made to the Brazilian Book Chamber (CBL) with associated costs.

INTERNATIONAL STANDARD SERIAL NUMBER – ISSN
The International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) is a code used to identify newspapers, magazines, printed and electronic journals.
The ISSN request is made to the Brazilian Institute for Information in Science and Technology (IBICT), which does not involve any costs.
